Fall 2012 Smoke School |
| Description: |
Training and certification/recertification for USEPA Method 9, used to determine the opacity of smoke emitted from stacks, will take place November 6 through 8, 2012. The course will be conducted by Eastern Technical Associates (ETA). All 3 days of the course will be held at Elm Brook Park, off of Route 127, in Contoocook. The first day is a classroom session which will be held at the main park office building beginning at 8:30 a.m. Field certification sessions are held the second and third days, with registration beginning at 8:00 am with a scheduled start time of 8:30 a.m. Registration for the course is done through ETA. ETA does charge a fee to become certified, and offers a discount for early registration.
