Air Permitting and VOC RACT Rules Workshop |
| Description: |
DES regulates air emissions from a variety of sources within New Hampshire through a statewide permitting program. The rules list sources that require permits for air emissions and outline the permitting process, including air pollution dispersion modeling impact analysis requirements. The workshop will include an overview of the amended air permit procedures and modeling requirements which became effective September 1, 2012.
DES also regulates VOCs by incorporating recommendations contained in the USEPA’s Control Techniques Guidelines in order to reduce ozone in non-attainment areas. The workshop will include an overview of amended VOC RACT requirements, which includes revised requirements for some existing sources and requirements for sources not previously subject to VOC RACT. |
