Dr. Nordstrom* talking about geochemical processes that affect major and trace elements from his work at mine sites, which have applicability to trace element mobility in general. His first talk is called "Hydrogeochemical processes governing the origin, transport and fate of major and trace elements from mine wastes and mineralized rock to surface waters" and the second talk is "Arsenic in the geosphere meets the anthroposphere." Following his talks, he will take questions about specific concerns you may have.
Certificates will be available for two (2.0) hours of continuing education for those in attendance seeking NH Professional CEU's. Pre-registration is NOT necessary.
