Title: New Federal Bike and Ped Funding Training
Description: Free Training on the New Federal Bike and Ped Funding. Are you interested in building upon the 20 years of progress in biking and walking? Let's not allow it to come to an end. The new federal transportation bill, MAP-21, has slashed guaranteed funding for biking and walking. But thanks to thousands of individual advocates who called, wrote, and e- mailed Congress as the bill was being written, we are still very much in the game. Advocacy Advance is committed to ensuring that states and local governments use every opportunity in the new law to increase the safety and convenience of biking and walking and is holding a free all-day training here in NH! Please join us Thursday March 20 for the Advocacy Advance Map-21 Workshop at the NH Department of Health and Human Services, 29 Hazen Drive, Concord, NH 03301. Breakfast is from 8:30-9:00 am, registration begins at 9:00 am,workshop is from 9:30 am - 4:30 pm. Networking event to follow, off site.
