Notice of Permit Review and Comment Period for State Certification of National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) General Permits: Vessel General Permit (VGP) and Small Vessel General Permit sVGP). The permits will cover discharges incidental to the normal operation of commercial and non-recreational vessels. The sVGP is for vessels less than 79 feet in length. DES has reviewed the draft fact sheets and permits for the VGP and sVGP, and plans to provide the US Environmental Protection Agency with State Certification pursuant to Section 401 of the Clean Water Act. Comments on the draft state certification letters and NH State Permit Conditions will be accepted until June 29, 2012. |
